Academy Performance

End of Key Stage Performance 2015 - 16

Attainment at Southmere Academy

We are very proud of how hard all of our children work throughout the year, and recognise that their results in end of key stage tests represent only a small portion of what they do while in our school.

KEY STAGE TWO OUTCOMES

In 2015, pupils at the end of Key Stage 2 were expected to reach a Level 4B (this was the expected standard for their age group). In 2016, pupils were tested against the new National Curriculum which has seen a significant rise in expectation. There was a new 'Expected Standard' introduced. Below, our results are shown against the National result, which is the average of every pupil who took the test in 2016. The table below shows the percentage reaching the expected standard or above for each year for the last three years.

Our pupils and staff work very hard and it is clear to see that outcomes for our pupils are improving and will continue to do so this year. If you would like to know how you can support your child at home, please speak to a member of staff. At the time of publishing, some national comparison data was unavailable (N/A).
